Jamey earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Trinity Western University after beginning his studies at UBC Okanagan. His education provided him with extensive knowledge of human movement, biomechanics, and exercise prescription principles that he applies in his work with clients.

Born and raised in Lake Country, BC, Jamey developed a passion for athletics from an early age, participating in hockey, soccer, volleyball, golf, and basketball throughout his youth. After completing his junior hockey career, he pursued higher education while continuing to develop his understanding of athletic performance.

Following graduation, Jamey’s hockey skills took him to Europe where he competed professionally, gaining valuable insights into various training methodologies and performance enhancement techniques. This experience abroad helped shape his approach to movement training and rehabilitation.

Since 2021, Jamey has worked as a Kinesiologist specializing in hockey-specific speed development. Through this work, he’s developed expertise in analyzing movement patterns, identifying biomechanical inefficiencies, and creating progressive training programs. Jamey is eager to apply his knowledge of human movement to helping clients recover from injuries and improve their quality of life.

Jamey takes a client-centered approach, believing that each person’s journey is unique and requires individualized attention. He focuses on building a strong foundation of functional movement before progressing to more challenging exercises, ensuring clients develop proper mechanics that support long-term health and prevent future injuries.

As a certified Kinesiologist registered with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiology, Jamey is committed to evidence-based practice and continuing education. When not working with clients, you’ll find him on the golf course, playing recreational sports, and making the most of all four seasons in BC’s beautiful interior.
